GM & Head R&D – Diagnostics Industry -Mumbai
One of the India’s top tier Diagnostics companies has shared a confidential mandate to hire their Chief of R&D for their R&D center.
Since it was confidential and very niche skill set, conventional method of sourcing didn’t work. So, we needed to think differently as the placement time was three months from the date of sharing the mandate by client.
We first , reviewed the JD and understand the same and ask few clarifying questions to their CHRO before we proceed our work. Then, we mapped the competitors and allied business segment who has R&D facilities in the country. Finally, we could connect 5-6 similar profiles across the country, post which we started finding their contact details through our rich database and Industry network and then started interacting with them and discussed about the scope of the job and nature of company without disclosing the client company till their interview has been scheduled. Finally after 4 of these candidates series of interview upto CEO , CHRO & MD level, we got into negotiation and finalization fo compensation and then compay offered the candidate but notice period of the candidate was 90 days so we needed to engage with the candidates .
